Services Provided
Phone Consultations
Therapist and client will briefly speak about the needs of the client, including the presenting problem and make arrangements to schedule the Initial Intake Assessment, when client is ready to proceed with therapy.
Initial Intake Assessment
This assessment will take anywhere from 60-90 minutes. Here, client's presenting problem, family history, services needed, and therapeutic services offered will be discussed. If treatment is not recommended, alternative resources and referrals will be provided.
Individual Therapy Sessions
Therapist will meet with the client for either a 45 minutes or 60 minutes session to continue the therapeutic process in discussing, evaluating, and working on achieving client goals.
Couples and Marriage Therapy Sessions
Therapist will meet with both clients for either a 45 minutes or a 60 minutes session, continuing to work on the presenting problems and focusing on resolving concerns and achieving goals discussed by both clients and the therapist. Progress will be evaluated and feedback will be provided.
Family Therapy Sessions
Therapist meets with the family members for either a 45 minutes or a 60 minutes session, focusing on issues/concerns presented and evaluating the progress of the therapeutic process.
Parent Consultation
Therapist meets with the parents for either a 45 minutes or a 60 minutes session, on an as-needed basis, to address parenting issues associated with their adolescent child currently in treatment with the therapist.
Anger Resolution Therapy Sessions
Therapist will meet with the client for approximately 45 minutes to teach the ABC model of anger resolution and to assess progress since last session. Homework assignments and other forms of therapeutic tools will be used on a regular basis.
